24th November Winter Workshop. This relaxed winter-themed pen & watercolour workshop is suitable for all abilities.

Foraging experience followed by a foraged themed lunch in The Plumicorn restaurant. This experience is designed to get you as involved as possible this includes identifying, picking and tasting a range of wild species that will be found on the day.  Take home your foraged goods.

Join us for mindful stargazing and meditation under the stars at The Tawny with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Stargazing mindfully means looking up at the night sky with wide-eyed curiosity and wonder. Wrap yourself in blankets while you immerse yourself with the starscape above.

The Churnet Valley Railway offers a nostalgic steam train ride through Staffordshire's hidden valley. Guests staying at The Tawny can board the train at Consall Station which is a short country walk from the bottom of our estate.
