Your dog can stay with you, in our Glade Huts and Lookouts. We welcome one medium sized, well behaved dog, aged 1 year or older, at The Tawny. A charge of £50 applies and includes dog bowls and a towel for your furry friend. Dog beds are not provided so please bring your own.
Please do not bring a dog without telling us, or bring more than one dog, as this will result in a £100 fine.
Meandering Pathways
Stroll through the incredible gardens of The Tawny with your furry friend, exploring diverse terrains from wooded hilltops to lakeside lowlands. Explore over 5 miles of meandering pathways around the 70 acres of lakes, woodlands and follies located on the grounds of The Tawny.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times to protect the incredible wildlife that lives in the gardens.
Further Afield
Traverse the trails of the neighboring Peak District together. With stunning rock formations, rolling hills, peaceful pools and hidden valleys, there's a whole lot of adventure waiting in this world-famous area.
Just a short step from The Tawny, you and your lucky dog can explore the nearby nature reserve, stroll along the winding canals or investigate the Churnet Valley.
Just a few miles from The Tawny is the dog-loving market town of Leek, home to an array of dog friendly shops, cafe's, craft bars and pubs.
Relax with a Drink
There's no need to abandon your pooch when you are ready to enjoy the laid back atmosphere, delicious drinks and delectable treats on offer at The Bar.
The Bar is Dog Friendly, please note the Lounge has a layout of sofas with low tables, and taller tables. Our Restaurant is not Dog Friendly, although you are more than welcome to use our Terrace.
The Bar is located in The Plumicorn at the tip of our largest lake and well-behaved dog's are welcome to accompany you as you relax, with a well deserved drink (or two), after a long day of excitement and exploration.
